The Mega Millions lottery officials have revealed that they are going to share the winning information of four lucky players. All four players had participated in the same draw for the Mega Millions but they ended up winning different prizes.
Two out of the four players from the recent Mega Millions draw won prize money worth $50,000 each and the other two were $1,000,000 and $10,000 respectively.
The officials are really excited to reveal that out of the total 4 players, three players won the tier-3 prize money. Still, two players won $50,000 from tier-3 while one player only won $10,000 from the same tier.
The Mega Millions of officials would love to clarify what led to one player winning a much smaller amount than the two from the same tier.
The officials have revealed that all players had participated in the Friday, November 19, 2021 draw for Mega Millions. From the draw, the winning numbers for the jackpot prize were 59-23-52-05-53 and the Mega Ball number was 18.
The jackpot prize money for the particular draw was set to $74,000,000. Although neither of the players won the jackpot prize, still they managed to win tier 2 and tier 3 prizes.
Out of the four players, one player won the tier 2 prize money, winning $1,000,000 in the prizes. Two players won the tier 3 prize money but managed to take away $50,000 each. The fourth and the last player also won the tier 3 prize money but only won the $10,000 prize money.
The name of the $1,000,000 prize-winning player is Kevin Knight, a resident from Lake Stevens, who purchased his ticket from Haggen #3600. Kevin matched 5 primary numbers from the draw but not the Mega Ball so no jackpot prize.
The second player is Ashley Armstrong, a resident from Monroe, who purchased her ticket from Rocket #5502, located at 14980 North Kelsey Street, Monroe. The third player is Levi Packard, a resident from Oak Harbor, who purchased his ticket from Safeway #402, located at 1450 Southwest Erie Street, Oak Harbor.
Both players matched 4 primary numbers and the Mega Ball to win the $10,000 prize money. But the players had a multiplier option added, which was X5, for the particular. This resulted in increasing their prize to $50,000.
On the other hand, the fourth player, Keith Peach, a resident from Kennewick did not select the multiplier, so ended up winning the basic $10,000 prize money. Peach had purchased his ticket from Winco Foods #2, which is located at 4602 West Clearance Avenue, Kennewick.
