On Sunday morning, a lotto player in Dublin was celebrating after becoming the newest millionaire in Ireland, having scooped up the top prize of €1 million in Saturday night’s Lotto Plus 1 draw. The National Lottery announced that they were hoping to reveal the name of the winning store that had sold the top prize ticket for the draw on Monday.
The winning numbers for the draw in question were 01, 02, 25, 30, 41, 42 and the bonus number was 36. The astonishing lotto jackpot of around €14,945,893 did not have any winner, which means that Wednesday’s jackpot is now set to roll over and would be around an estimated €15.5 million. The current Lotto jackpot has already been rolling for more than three months now, beginning June 9th, Wednesday. If the Wednesday night’s estimated jackpot prize of €15.5 million is claimed by a single winner, it would make them the biggest Lotto winner in over a decade.
Saturday night’s draw also saw a total of 139 players receive a boost to their winnings as the Lotto Plus Raffle was topped up by the National Lottery with an additional €1 million. Typically, winners of the Lotto Plus Raffle win around €500 in each draw. There were 139 Raffle winners on Saturday night, which means that the boosted prize fund resulted in a prize of €7,694 for every Raffle winner. 6895 was the winning Raffle number.
